Water CE Online Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Water CE Online website, online courses, student account, certificates, and related services.

Water CE Online is operated by The Web Corner, Inc.

1. Educational Services

Water CE Online provides online educational courses for water and wastewater professionals.

Courses identified as approved for North Carolina Continuing Education ("CE") or Professional Growth Hours ("PGH") are intended to satisfy the requirements associated with the specific approval number and number of hours shown for that course.

Approval of one course does not mean that every course offered by Water CE Online is approved.

Students are responsible for confirming that a particular course is appropriate for their certification and continuing-education requirements.

2. Course Approval Numbers

When applicable, the North Carolina course approval number will be displayed with the course.

Students should verify that an approved course number is displayed before relying on a course for CE or PGH credit.

Water CE Online will not advertise a course as state-approved until the appropriate approval has been received.

3. Student Accounts

Students must provide accurate information when creating an account and completing training.

Accounts are intended for use only by the registered student. Students may not allow another individual to complete training, assessments, or other course requirements on their behalf.

Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

4. Course Completion

Students must satisfy the completion requirements displayed for each course before receiving a certificate of completion.

Requirements may include reviewing required instructional material, completing knowledge checks or assessments, meeting applicable participation requirements, and completing any other controls required for the course.

Water CE Online may use reasonable measures to document course participation and completion.

5. Certificates

Certificates are issued only after required course activities have been completed.

Certificates may contain information including:

• Student name
• Course title
• Course approval number
• Number of approved hours
• Completion date
• Training location or designation as online/virtual
• Provider or sponsor
• Instructor or sponsor
• Authorized signature

Students should retain their certificates for their records.

6. Reporting Course Completion

For approved courses, Water CE Online may report completion information to the appropriate North Carolina operator-certification program as required.

Students must provide accurate certification numbers and other information reasonably required for roster submission.

Providing an incorrect certification number, name, or other information may delay or prevent credit from being applied.

Submission of a completion roster does not itself guarantee that a regulatory agency will grant or maintain a certification.

7. No Certification Guarantee

Water CE Online provides education and documentation of successful course completion.

Water CE Online does not issue North Carolina operator certifications and does not control certification, renewal, reinstatement, licensing, or credit decisions made by government agencies or certification boards.

8. Course Availability

We may update instructional materials, assessments, course requirements, or website functionality when reasonably necessary to maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, security, or service quality.

An approved course will not be materially changed in a manner inconsistent with applicable approval requirements without appropriate review when required.

9. Fees and Payment

Course fees are displayed before purchase.

Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. Water CE Online does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers on its own servers.

10. Refund Policy

Water CE Online offers a five (5) day refund period from the original purchase date.

A refund may be requested during this period provided the student has not completed a course, received a certificate of completion, or had completion information submitted for continuing-education or professional-growth credit.

Once a course has been completed, a certificate has been issued, or completion has been reported, the purchase is non-refundable.

Duplicate charges and billing errors will be reviewed and corrected when appropriate.

11. Acceptable Use

Users may not:

• Share accounts or login credentials;
• Allow another person to complete training on their behalf;
• Attempt to bypass course-completion controls;
• Alter or falsify a certificate;
• Submit false certification information;
• Copy or redistribute course materials without authorization;
• Attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.

12. Intellectual Property

Course text, graphics, assessments, videos, software, website content, and related materials are owned by or licensed to The Web Corner, Inc. unless otherwise stated.

Course purchases provide the student with a limited right to access the purchased educational material for personal educational use. They do not transfer ownership of the course content.

13. Third-Party Services

Water CE Online may use third-party service providers for functions including payment processing, email delivery, hosting, security, and related technology services.

Use of those services may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and privacy practices.

14. Limitation of Service

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and available educational services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees certification, employment, promotion, regulatory approval, license renewal, or acceptance of course credit where a student's individual circumstances make the course inapplicable.

15. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes to our services, technology, business practices, or legal and regulatory requirements.

The effective date shown at the top identifies the current version.
